ORDER PREPARATION CLERK

Position Description

Johnny Vac is a family business founded in 1982 and located in Montreal-East (8581 Place Marien, Montreal-East, QC, H1B 5W6). We have over 8000 products available for our dealers and the general public. Vacuum cleaners, filters, bags, accessories, cleaning products and vacuum cleaner parts, as well as a wide range of sanitation equipment. We are a dynamic company with over 1200 dealers across North America and we ship our products throughout Canada and the United States.

Johnny Vac is currently looking for an Order Preparation Clerk to fill a permanent position in our Anjou office.

This position is directly involved in the distribution operations (logistics and warehouse) of the company.

Principal responsibilities

Take charge of activities related to the preparation of kits (accessories and components):

Follow-up on the kits in inventory, taking into account the required replenishment thresholds
Picking up the required merchandise in the warehouse according to the pre-established list for each kit
Assemble as needed and package the goods that are part of a given kit
Identification labelling of the packaging box for each kit
Putting the kit boxes back into the warehouse in the spaces provided for this purpose
Computerized entry of newly created kits
Adjustment to kit inventories

What are the schedules like?

The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. You will not be required to work overtime, nights, or weekends.

You have one hour for lunch and two 15-minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Salary for this position starts at $15/hr and may increase depending on your experience.

What sanitary measures are in place against COVID-19?

Masks are mandatory in all open areas. Since you will be working in the warehouse, you will be required to wear a mask until government health measures are lifted.
