COUNTER AGENT

Vacuum cleaners, filters, bags, accessories, cleaning products and vacuum cleaner parts, as well as a wide range of sanitation equipment. We are a dynamic company with over 1200 dealers across North America, and we ship our products throughout Canada and the United States.

Johnny Vac is currently looking for a Counter Agent to fill a permanent position in our Montreal East office.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, as a Counter Agent, you will work with the sales team members to achieve the sales objectives set for Canada. You will be responsible for effectively responding to customer inquiries and achieving set objectives.

Principal responsibilities

  • Greet and manage customer requests in a friendly and professional manner; 

  • Respond to customer needs and ensure that merchandise is exchanged, replaced or refunded according to company policy;

  • Coordinate and schedule deliveries/pick-ups;

  • Coordinate and schedule deliveries/pick-ups; Provide information and advice to customers over the phone in a courteous manner;

  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organized work area;

  • Maintain a clean, orderly and organized work area; Follow company procedures for occupational health and safety

  • Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications:

Secondary 5 diploma, perfectly bilingual (French, English). Minimum of 2 years experience in sales and/or customer service. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitary products is an asset.

Important:

Excellent negotiation, organizational, time management and teamwork skills. Ease of learning, computer skills, good communication skills.

What are the schedules like?

Monday to Friday: 8 am to 5 pm.

You have one hour for lunch and two 15-minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
