Since the beginning of COVID-19, Johnny Vac has never stopped its operations - those having been considered as an essential service in order to help slow the spread of the virus. We have therefore been active for these 2 months and have, over time, implemented a safe system for our employees. Also, since a few days, about 40% of businesses in Quebec have had the opportunity to open their doors to their customers; some real good news for the economy! At Johnny Vac too, we decided to reopen our service counter (at the front) as well as our shipping/reception counter (at the back).
However, since the context of COVID-19 can be a major stressor for the employer, workers and customers, special attention must be paid for the safety of all. This is why we will always favor online orders and delivery by the carrier. However, if you think it is easier for you to travel to pick up your products, we will be ready to welcome you, starting next Monday, June 1st. Furthermore, it is essential that you call before picking up an order so that it is ready and thus avoid any unnecessary waiting on our premises.
Certain basic rules must also be observed, such as:
- Sanitize your hands on arrival and departure from our premises; - Avoid unnecessary traffic outside the reception area (yellow tape will be affixed to the floor for this purpose); - Keep a distance of 2 meters between each person (red circles will be affixed to the floor for this purpose); - Respect the maximum of 3 people at the front counter / 2 people at the rear counter; - Avoid direct contact with other customers and staff; - Also, although not mandatory, we strongly recommend wearing a mask or face cover. These preventive measures are based on our commitment to the health and safety of our customers and employees while serving the community. You will understand that this plan aims to participate in slowing the spread of the virus while allowing us to continue to serve our customers without reducing the quality of our operations.
